If you're feeling stressed out, anxious or depressed, I welcome the opportunity to help you feel better.
People turn to therapy for many reasons.
Sometimes we need help managing relationships at work or at home. Or we may be struggling with a life transition, such as coping with a health issue or feeling trapped in a job and unsure what to do next.
Other times, we may be feeling empty and unfulfilled, lack confidence or are preoccupied with worries.
When difficult emotions or experiences prevent you from being able to fully enjoy life, I can help you move to a place where you feel stronger, happier and more at peace.
How I Can Help
My approach is warm, down-to-earth and compassionate.
I start by providing a safe, supportive environment where you can process your feelings and life experiences.
If you're looking for tools you can put into place quickly to manage stress, anxiety, chronic pain or insomnia, I may just have what you need. I'm a certified biofeedback practitioner and trained in various mindfulness techniques that you can use to start feeling better right away. These are tools scientifically-proven to reduce anxiety, depression, sleep issues and even chronic pain.
Together, we will discover the strengths you already have within you for healing, growth and change.
Then we'll build on those strengths by exploring positive new ways of thinking and being in the world.
In my practice, I utilize solution-focused, integrative therapies. This means I look at all the factors that may be contributing to your struggles.
While I draw primarily from cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness therapies, my approach is flexible and tailored to what will work best for you.
I specialize in helping people who are struggling with:
