Typically, insomnia is the result of unhealthy behaviors, thoughts, and feelings that develop over time.  Throughout the 8-week program, we will identify your thoughts and behaviors that keep you from sleeping well. You will then recieve step-by-step recommendations to shift your behaviors and thoughts towards better sleep. You’ll know exactly what to do and not to do each week to reach your goals. 

The fine print

The insomnia program is an 8-week comprehensive treatment program based on current scientific knowledge about insomnia and sleep, delivered in person or via telehealth. 

Through the use of CBT-I, the gold standard in the treatment of insomnia, combined with proven strategies to regulate your circadian rhythm, you will learn everything you need be able easily fall asleep and stay asleep each night.  For those of you who are the "wired and tired" type, strategies to rewire your brain towards a more relaxed resting state will also be provided.

 

The program treats primary insomnia. This is the inability to fall asleep, stay asleep through the night, or get restorative sleep that is not caused by medical or psychiatric illnesses such as pain or severe anxiety.
